Repeat Prescriptions
Patients on long-term medication can order repeat prescriptions in a number of ways:
- By Hand – drop your repeat slip in at reception with the required items clearly marked.
- By Post – send it to us with a stamped addressed envelope if you want us to post it back to you.
- By Phone - calls are not accepted before 11:00
- By Fax – to 01236 727549
- Online – follow the link at the top of this page and carry out a simple registration.
You can also place orders via your local pharmacy however as most pharmacies collect in the morning or early afternoon so please allow a minimum of 3 days for this service. You must provide us with consent to allow us to continue to send your prescription to your chosen pharmacy
Collection
PLEASE NOTE A CHANGE TO THE COLLECTION TIMES.
Due to the increase of prescription requests and GP workload it has been necessary to extend the length of time for collection. We now require 48 hours notice to process your prescription ready for collection.
We will still only accept telephone requests after 11am. Please be aware that prescriptions requested on a Friday will not be ready for collection till a Tuesday.
In order to keep the service as prompt as possible please inform us if you have arranged for your prescriptions to be collected by a pharmacy. If you use the pharmacy service please ensure you provide them with enough notice to allow us to process and return it to them.
